Sharpen skills needed for academic achievement
This module serves as a bridge to facilitate students’ transition into H-FARM College’s higher education environment. Through a variety of interactive learning activities—including group discussions, debates, personal reflections, and independent research—students will develop a deep understanding of academic conventions and requirements. These conventions include effective use of literature, research and information review, various forms of academic writing, and the development of reflective thinking.
Beyond academic skills, students will receive support in developing essential study strategies, enhancing their existing abilities. These transferable skills will be valuable not only during the Foundation Year but throughout their academic and professional journey. By participating in this module, students will gain clear expectations for both the Foundation Year and university-level studies, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and ability to effectively use resources and meet academic standards.
