The idea for Etrash was born in our College classrooms, together with two fellow students: a smart bin that recognizes materials and automatically sorts them, finally making recycling simple. From the very beginning, he knew he was in the right place—surrounded by ambitious people like him, sharing the same restlessness and the same drive to build something that really matters.

Just a few months ago, the journey came full circle with the launch event of the smart bin, right where it had all started: on the H-FARM Campus. The future is still unwritten, and in Filippo’s words, there’s the beauty of someone who’s still hungry—for the road ahead, and for a world to change. One piece of waste at a time.

When she switched from a traditional university to H-FARM Campus to pursue a Master’s Degree, the difference was immediately striking. That leap felt like a breath of fresh air: no more monotonous lectures, but an environment where ideas take shape and help build the future.

During the darker moments she’s faced, Anna discovered a strength she didn’t know she had — a strength now clearly visible in her eyes.

Raised in Jordan by an Italian father and a Jordanian mother, he proudly carries the name of his Neapolitan grandfather. Beneath his impressive “gentle giant” physique is a young man who has taken to heart his parents’ advice: invest in yourself as a person, not just in your career.

Whether you meet him in class, at a match, or at a party, Luigi will give you this advice: “Don’t be afraid, talk to everyone, show who you really are.” Just like he does, every single day.

From the rooftops of H-FARM’s Startup Village, where he arrived fifteen years ago with his dream, he has seen the horizon expand every day. A passionate nerd, a pioneer of artificial intelligence, he is a man who lives multiple lives in one. “We don’t have much time in this world,” he tells his students, his eyes shining with the same light they had when H-FARM first believed in him. 

Today, as CEO of H-FARM AI and coordinator of the AI & Data Science degree program of H-FARM College, he inspires new generations, encouraging them to explore the full potential that new technologies have to offer.

His life is a manifesto of his philosophy: be ambitious, believe in your abilities, never underestimate yourself. As he rides the wave of artificial intelligence, Diego never forgets the essence of his journey: striving to do incredible things, making an impact, and doing it every day faster than yesterday.

What seemed like just an academic path turned into a true rebirth for Pietro, who, step by step, broke down the barriers that once held him back. H-FARM was not just about education for him, it became a deep personal transformation.

It started with a five-day experience at the Lumina Summer School, where he learned how challenges could transform into opportunities in a rapidly evolving world. For Logan, it was only the beginning.

Captivated by the campus and inspired by its community, Logan chose to stay longer, immersing himself in the BSc in International Business Studies program. A former racing driver and devoted musician, he carried with him a rhythm shaped by drums, cello, and piano, always guided by his favorite mantra: “Keep moving forward.”

Logan’s journey at H-FARM was one of discovery—of people, of opportunities, and of himself. As you read these lines, he is on the other side of the world. He has returned to his home country, ready to write a new chapter of his life, carrying in his heart the beautiful moments shared together: the experiences that helped him grow, the genuine friendships, and a renewed energy to chase his dreams.

But when her son Barnaba set out on his own journey, it wasn’t as smooth. His first university experience left him feeling lost, like a plane searching for a place to land. What should have been an exciting chapter turned into a moment of doubt, a path strewn with turbulence. Cristina stood firmly by his side, her support unwavering as he navigated the storm of disappointment.

Then came H-FARM College and its Campus, a place where the green grass stretched as far as the eye could see, a world taking root amidst the Venetian landscape. Barnaba stepped onto the campus and felt it immediately — he had landed. The warmth of the professors, the connections with his peers, and the vibrant energy of the environment lifted him in a way he’d never experienced before. For the first time, he wasn’t just a face in a crowd. He felt inspired, valued, and seen.

“At first, I wasn’t sure,” Cristina admits. “But that campus — so green, so alive — felt like being abroad while still being at home. And I thought, why not?”

Now, as Cristina shapes Murano glass in Venice, she sees her journey reflected in her son’s and the beauty of discovering the perfect landing spot.

When he returned to Italy, the internet was just taking off, and Timothy seized the moment. Founding his first company wasn’t just a career move — it was a leap into the unknown, driven by curiosity and a hunger to create. His journey soon crossed paths with Riccardo Donadon while he was envisioning H-FARM as more than a hub for innovation. It soon became a space to inspire and empower. “It was a natural evolution to work with students on entrepreneurship” Timothy says, reflecting on how passion becomes legacy.

Today, as Coordinator of the BSc in Business Creation & Entrepreneurship and professor at H-FARM College, Timothy’s mission is clear: to spark ambition in a new generation of founders. Teaching isn’t just about lessons: it’s about showing what’s possible, about helping young minds chase their own “new” and make it extraordinary.

For Leonardo, College is more than just a university. At H-FARM’s Campus, he realized he was in the right place as if every encounter and experience was telling him: “This is your path.” One such moment was meeting visionary designer Brian Collins, a true lightning bolt of inspiration. It showed him that every experience can be a stage to challenge oneself, to turn passion into tangible projects.
Leonardo isn’t driven by what one might call personal ambition. Instead, he’s on a mission: to create initiatives where young content creators don’t just learn but imagine, transform, and help others. A virtuous cycle — an “infinite game” — where every talent nurtures new talent, carrying forward the legacy of what H-FARM College has done for him: opening doors, connecting worlds, and multiplying opportunities.

Anna, a sunny and determined student in the Digital Management program at H-FARM College, left her home in Russia to embrace a new chapter in Italy. Moving wasn’t easy—she still remembers the tears in her parents’ eyes as they said goodbye, the same parents who had always given her the freedom to choose her path.
The road to Italy was filled with challenges, but Anna’s resilience and courage overcame them all.
