A delegation from New York University Abu Dhabi on Campus

We were thrilled to host a delegation from New York University Abu Dhabi on campus!

NYU Abu Dhabi, a unique campus in the Middle East, combines the strengths of a liberal arts education with groundbreaking research from a top American university. Its diverse and rigorous curriculum attracts students from all over the world, creating a truly global community.

Over three intense days in October, we had the privilege of exchanging ideas with Fabio Piano (Vice Chancellor), Carol Brandt (Associate Vice Chancellor and Vice Provost, Global Education and Outreach), and Amol Dani (Chief Operations Officer) on society, humanity and how education can concretely contribute to building a better world.

The delegation, welcomed by Pierluigi Fasano, Chief Learning Architect H-FARM Education, and Antonella Sannella, Executive Director at H-FARM College, had the chance to fully immerse themselves in our educational environment and see firsthand what it means to study at H-FARM College. Their discussions with students from different levels, from the IB Diploma Programme to College, were lively exchanges of ideas and invaluable learning opportunities for all involved.

The distinctive qualities of NYUAD as a global education leader in research and innovation correspond very well with H-FARM’s entrepreneurial spirit, as described in a presentation by Timothy O’Connell, and H-FARM Business School CEO Alessandro Petrillo who spoke about industry proximity with executive education. An additional similarity is that the two institutions look for similar student profiles, with an emphasis on curiosity, adaptability, resourcefulness and drive.

The meeting with Riccardo Donadon, CEO and founder of H-FARM, underlined total convergence on investing in the future by investing in students and the need to keep humans at the center of societal advancement.

The final session in Venice, led by Antonello Barbaro, CEO of H-FARM Education, sparked enthusiasm about potential collaborations in entrepreneurship and technology innovation, ethical leadership for the exponential age, humanities and digital transformation, and the fusion of science and the arts to tackle global challenges.

As Doc Brown from “Back to the Future” said: “Your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one.”

We’re excited to see what the future holds!
