Alberto Grignolo joins our Board of Directors
Beginning his career in YOOX, he contributed to it becoming a publicly listed group with over $2.5 billion in yearly turnover and transforming it into one of the global leaders in e-commerce.
Mr. Grignolo, born in 1973, holds an Economics degree from Bocconi University of Milan. He began his career in what was a small startup in the early 2000s, contributing, over the course of 20 years, to it becoming a publicly listed group with over $2.5 billion in yearly turnover with more than 4,000 employees and transforming it into one of the global leaders in e-commerce.
At YOOX Group (which later became Yoox Net-a-Porter Group), Alberto held key roles: for almost 10 years he was responsible for commercial development, subsequently moving up to General Manager and then becoming the Chief Operating Officer of the Group.
Our Board of Direcyors appointed Alberto Grignolo to replace Maurizio Rossi, our co-founder, as new board member. Rossi will continue to contribute to the growth of our Group by taking on the role of President of the H for Human Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the construction, development and dissemination of digital culture through innovative educational courses, need- and merit-based scholarships and corporate education programs.
