Canali Anthology
We conceived and developed Canali's new corporate storytelling project, managing editorial coordination and the creation and production of content.
For the first time in its 85 years, the brand has told its story through a virtual journey: Canali Anthology. A multimedia project featuring the brand's founding family, masterful artisans and collaborators credited with building the brand’s identity and heritage narrated through videos, interviews, testimonials and images.
In retracing key historic moments, Canali Anthology serves as a source of inspiration, highlighting the milestones which has led the brand to become a top international player in the Made in Italy luxury menswear industry.
The platform, available in Italian, English and soon in Chinese, allows you to explore the present, reveal the past and imagine the future of the company. It contains more than 70 videos produced in Italy, China and the United States, as well as dozens of testimonials, articles, archive content, photos and illustrations.
The project, conceived and developed by our Innovation team, retraces Canali's historical heritage. Founded by brothers Giovanni and Giacomo in 1934, the first family company was a tailoring workshop for the production of men's clothing in Triuggio. Together, they transformed the workshop into a company that employed over 100 employees in the 1940s. After the Second World War, the company's restructuring began with the second generation of Canali, Giovanni's sons, specializing in the production of raincoats. In the 1970s they went back to men's clothing, expanding the line in the 1990s with the introduction of casual wear and then beginning their retail experience.
Today, the Group is led by the third generation of the family and has 5 production centers in Italy, more than 1,500 employees across the world, 190 boutique stores and is also distributed through a network of 1,000 retail stores in over 100 Countries.
