Project DIVA: selected solutions
Since 2018 we have been a partner of the European project DIgitech Value chains for Agrofood, forestry and environment.
We are a partner and National Contact Point of DIVA, an European H2020 project aimed at accelerating SMEs in the agro-food, forestry and environment sectors, by giving them access to financial support, strategic consulting and business coaching services. For the first open call, 66 projects were selected – among these, 6 through our contribution:
- Digital4wood Traceability
Project by Etifor that aims to investigate how the blockchain technology could be used in timber certification process in a moment when the interest towards forest certification is very high.
- BxT (Buono per Tutti)
A Confcooperative Toscana physical hub providing a direct-to-consumer digital, organizational and logistical platform for aggregation, storage, distribution and delivery of local healthy and sustainable food to consumers and wholesale buyers.
- Prosecco Extreme Tracking
Project by Consorzio Tutela Prosecco DOC aimed at using image recognition and blockchain technologies to build a data repository of the Prosecco PDO brands, a solution for promotion, tracking and validation of PDO wine, accessible to the stakeholder and final consumers.
- ViViD – Vineyard visual driving
A computer vision system developed by CET Electronics and applied to the autonomous driving of a robotic machine, used for automatic data collection and spraying in vineyards.
- NYSA
A standalone monitoring, localization, phenotyping and 3D mapping system for precision agriculturecreated by CNT Technologies. An user-friendly device, even for small and medium farms, which can be used in any tractors or implements without having to upgrade machinery.
- WOWnature
A web-based platform developed by Etifor to connect landowners, private companies and citizens and create new public-private and multi-level partnerships for forest green infrastructures finance.

Project DIVA aims to provide support to the emergence and development of new industrial digitech value chains with applications to the agro-food, forestry and environment sectors. Through it, SMEs will receive grants from 10,000 to 60,000 euros to accelerate new concepts/products/services, test them through demonstrations or internationalize them.
