We signed the Charta Smeralda, a code of conduct for the protection of the sea

With One Ocean Foundation, Audi Italia and eco-explorer Alex Bellini we discussed how to protect the environment and the oceans.

Sustainability is a fundamental value that is at the centre of everything we do. On 3 November we hosted the Alex Bellini Educational Tour, a series of events organized by One Ocean Foundation and Audi to raise awareness of environmental issues. On this occasion we signed the Charta Smeralda, OOF's code of conduct for the protection of the sea. You can sign it too: click here.

One Ocean Foundation was founded in 2018 by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and develops specific projects dedicated to the preservation of the marine environment.

Renowned explorer Alex Bellini shared the messages of the Foundation and also his project 10Rivers1Ocean – that we are a partner of – dedicated to the navigation of the 10 world's most polluted rivers to raise awareness on plastic waste. Carlo Carraro, our Head of Academic Programmes, also spoke.
