The Master’s Degree in Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship is designed to address a dual need: on the one hand, to train professionals capable of designing and launching new businesses in the digital era; on the other, to support companies that need to redefine their business, service, and product models in response to the rapid technological, economic, political, and consumer behavior changes of today.
The goal, in both cases, is to identify the key elements necessary to develop and evolve business models, ensuring sustainability and competitiveness in a constantly changing environment.

This university program provides students with the skills to become successful digital entrepreneurs or to lead digital transformation within a company. It offers dynamic instruction that combines theory and practice through classroom lectures, project work, group activities, and enhancing courses. The program is designed to equip students with the essential competencies and knowledge needed to thrive in the ever-evolving business world.
The program delves into key topics such as Leading Digital Innovation and Platform Business Models in the Digital Economy, equipping students with the tools necessary to understand and fully leverage platform-based business models. Through dedicated modules like Managing Digital Disruption, students will develop the mental and operational flexibility required to navigate an ever-evolving business landscape.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the strategic use of data to guide business decisions through Data-Driven Decision Making for Entrepreneurs, an essential element for creating value in digital enterprises. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics such as Digital Product Design & Management and Digital Customer Experience Design, gaining skills to design innovative products and enhance customer experiences. Additionally, attention to design and usability will be crucial, as highlighted in courses like UI/UX Design, which will prepare participants to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
Digitalization also offers new opportunities for marketing and promotion, as explored in modules on Digital Marketing for Startups. Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence in Business Transformation, Blockchain for Digital Entrepreneurs, and Cloud-Native Business Models will be central to the program, allowing students to explore advanced approaches to transforming and growing businesses.
In an increasingly connected world, ensuring the security and sustainability of digital models is fundamental: the modules on Cybersecurity in Digital Enterprises will provide tools to address these challenges.
This constant evolution requires mental flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to innovate and capitalize on the opportunities offered by digital transformation. The program provides comprehensive training to tackle these challenges, whether one aims to build a new business or make a significant impact within an existing organization.
Big Data, Analytics and IoT – 10 ECTS
This course aims to analyze the fundamental concepts and main applications of data analysis in a digital context.
More specifically, it focuses on the applications of various data analysis techniques to extract meaningful patterns from structured and unstructured data sets in virtualization environments based on virtual machines.
Students will learn how to leverage different real-time Big Data Analytics frameworks to extract and analyze data collected from various inputs. The analysis will be performed using various techniques, including classification, clustering, regression, and other machine learning algorithms.
Applied Research Methods for Business – 10 ECTS
This course aims to help students acquire the basic skills to conduct research in an academic and scientific context.
In fact, each course in the Master’s program will require a degree of research for group work or for the completion of exams, especially the final module, which will require extensive research, both primary and secondary.
This module aims to provide students with a solid introduction and foundation in the main qualitative and quantitative research techniques used in both academic and commercial business research.
Digital Transformation Strategy – 10 ECTS
Digital technologies are transforming the way individuals and organizations conduct business. This module will enable students to gain an understanding of how advancements in information systems, mobile communication technologies, and internet-based technologies are leading to radical changes in the economic landscape, business models, and growth strategies of organizations.
The focus of the module is on how individuals and managers respond to the challenge of new technologies by developing innovative strategies, leading transformation and change, and enhancing their own skills and competencies to compete in the digital world.
Design Thinking – 10 ECTS
Design thinking is a method that can be used to address a wide range of problems and issues: it can be leveraged in creating new products, services, and processes, as well as in solving and improving existing problems and situations. This course is based on the use of real case studies and built around the notion of learning by doing: students will be required to work as team members during the module, using design thinking to attempt to address a series of real business problems.
Regular workshops will be structured to provide sufficient support to students, allowing them, at the same time, to have an appropriate space for engaging independently in the necessary learning processes to complete the module successfully.
Digital Strategies & Digital Marketing – 10 ECTS
This module addresses the ways in which individuals and organizations can effectively implement digital aspects in marketing planning.
The course begins with an analysis of the macro and microenvironments related to an organization, and then provides students with an overview of the key tools and strategies that an individual or company can implement to create the most effective marketing mix, manage offline and online channels, and implement key digital tools to help achieve business objectives.
Entrepreneurship in the digital age – 10 ECTS
Drawing from H-FARM’s experience and its work with start-ups across Europe, this module has been designed from the outset to be a truly hands-on experience for all participants.
The course introduces the fundamentals of start-up management, corporate design, and entrepreneurship, all set against the backdrop of the digital era.
Students will be taught how to transform ideas and projects into a viable business form through relevant literature, case studies, and workshops. They will work following the lean start-up methodology; therefore, each class will have specific learning tasks and expected outcomes.
Business Research Project –
30 ECTS
An experiential module designed to create and develop an original project/solution, either as an entrepreneurial project (startup) or as a project within a company contributing to open innovation processes. The module consists of both theoretical and practical components: students will work individually and in groups on a practical project, drawing on the skills and knowledge acquired during various theoretical classes and workshops provided by professionals and tutors.
This module is designed leveraging H-FARM’s experience in working alongside highly promising entrepreneurs in conceiving, developing, and launching their initiatives. Since 2005, H-FARM has been managing numerous startup acceleration and incubation programs, often in partnership with leading companies and brands, supporting hundreds of startups with a unique “acceleration platform” consisting of methods, resources, a network of mentors and investors, and managed by a talented team.

The Enhancing Courses are a series of extra-curricular courses that complement the knowledge provided by their academic program with practical skills of broad application. Entry requirements
ACADEMIC TITLE
Students who wish to apply for the Master’s Degree in Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship must:
- Hold a university degree in an appropriate field obtained from an Italian university (Bachelor’s degree).
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an Italian university and have completed at least 110 ECTS credits at the time of application.
- Have completed a course of study abroad and possess a foreign degree recognized as suitable for admission.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
To enroll, candidates must have a language certification at an appropriate level. The accepted certifications are listed in the application notice.
In some cases, it may be possible to access the course even in the absence of a certified English level. The accepted exemptions are listed in the application notice. The candidate must complete the exemption form available at this link and submit it during the online application.

After submitting your online application, you will be contacted by the Admissions Team to schedule your motivational interview, which will be conducted in English. The interviews will take place on the dates specified in the application guidelines.
During the interview phase, your motivation, academic and extracurricular experiences will be assessed, and your English proficiency will also be evaluated.
Candidates who are deemed eligible for admission but have insufficient English language skills during the interview may be asked to provide a B2 level certification by August 31st. Failure to provide the certification within the specified deadline may result in the inability to proceed with enrollment.
After the interview, you will receive the outcome of your application via email.

The fee for the Master’s Degree in Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship for the academic year 2025/26 is €15,500. You can pay this fee in three installments according to the following schedule:
1st INSTALLMENT
€5,700 (€800 + €4,900 if you decide to pre-enroll) to be paid during the enrollment procedure.
2nd INSTALLMENT
€4,900 to be paid by January 15, 2025.
3rd INSTALLMENT
€4,900 to be paid by May 15, 2025.
A 15% discount will be granted to the first 5 admitted candidates who confirm their place in the program through the enrollment or pre-enrollment procedure.
The fee to be paid will be €13,170 instead of €15,500, and the payment will be made in 3 installments:

A student who pays the tuition fees after the indicated deadline in the contract will incur progressively in a penalty of €100 from the first day to the tenth day after the deadline; a penalty of €200 from the eleventh to the twentieth day after the deadline; a penalty of €200 and a block on the University career from the twenty-first day after the deadline onwards.

Additionally, students can apply to join the LUMINA team, an agency structured like a real consulting firm, designed to allow students to experience typical consultancy activities. Within LUMINA, professionals and faculty members from H-FARM College act as mentors, supporting the development of young people’s entrepreneurial mindset. Students can also be selected to join the FARMEDIA team, a media agency that enables students to perform activities typical of the digital communication industry.
