SUMMER PROGRAM

AI, Aesthetics and Conscious Fashion

From Venice to New York: Designing the Future of Fashion Tech

AI, Aesthetics and Conscious Fashion

AI, Aesthetics and Conscious Fashion is an international summer program that takes students from Venice to New York to explore the future of fashion tech. This immersive two-week experience combines artificial intelligence, design thinking, and innovation to rethink how fashion is designed, produced, and experienced.

The first week takes place at the H-FARM Campus near Venice, where participants explore the digital transformation of the fashion system through hands-on workshops, case studies, and collaborative activities. From AI and 3D prototyping to immersive technologies, students gain a critical and informed understanding of the sector, working in teams on real-world challenges while developing key skills that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

The second week unfolds in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), an internationally recognized institution at the crossroads of fashion, creativity, and technology. Students engage with emerging technologies and design thinking while exploring the city’s unique fashion ecosystem. Inspired by the concept of Genius Loci, participants experience the Garment District’s network of local manufacturers and suppliers, visit key cultural institutions such as the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum, and discover innovative apparel hubs at Brooklyn Navy Yard—gaining a holistic view of fashion’s heritage and future.

The program culminates in the presentation of a concrete fashion tech project, showcasing a conscious approach to design and a new generation of creatives ready to lead the evolution of the industry.

AI and Innovation in Fashion

During the first week at the H-FARM Campus, participants explore the digital evolution of the fashion system through AI, 3D prototyping, and immersive technologies, developing concepts that blend aesthetics, functionality, and conscious production.

Wearable Technology and Creative Immersion in New York

The second week takes place in New York, a global capital of fashion and innovation. Here, learning comes to life through a real-world wearable technology challenge and an immersion in the city’s creative ecosystem: studio visits, cultural cross-pollination, and urban inspiration become an integral part of the learning experience.

An International Experience Between Heritage and Innovation

From Italy to the United States in a single program: multicultural teams, international instructors, and a continuous dialogue between European tradition and New York experimentation, all aimed at designing the future of fashion tech with a global and conscious vision.
