Alvise Bonivento
After working in the Research and Development departments of companies in Silicon Valley between 2000 and 2001, Alvise was a graduate researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2007, focusing primarily on research in embedded systems and wireless systems.
From 2004 to 2007, he worked as a private consultant for several Italian companies, developing wireless systems for industrial applications. During this time, he also developed several patents in the field of robotics.
From 2007 to 2009, Alvise worked at McKinsey & Co. as an associate, managing teams and working across various industrial sectors.
He joined Atlante Ventures in March 2009 as an Investment Manager and later as an Investment Director, gaining experience in all stages of the deal flow, with a primary focus on the ICT sector, embedded systems, and biomedical devices.
Since May 2018, Alvise has been a partner at Indaco Venture Partners SGR, the largest venture capital management company in Italy, where he serves as Investment Director for the new Indaco Ventures I fund.
He is currently a board member of several portfolio companies.
He holds a degree in Communication Technologies from the University of Padua and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
