Interprofessional Funds for Companies

Italian private companies can choose to finance the training of their employees through the use of Interprofessional Funds.

Interprofessional Paritarian Funds (Law 388/2000) are associative bodies promoted by trade unions and aimed at promoting training activities for employed workers. They are authorized to collect 0.30% of the contributions paid to the National Social Security Institute (INPS) and redistribute them among their members. By allocating 0.30% to an Interprofessional Fund, the company guarantees that the amount paid – by obligation (Law 845/1978) – can be returned in training actions aimed at qualifying employees in full harmony with their corporate strategies.
