Hepatocellular carcinoma, hackathon with Roche
We contributed to organize Hack for HCC with 70 medical experts to improve the lives of patients and their caregivers.
Developing new solutions to address the unmet needs of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was the goal of Hack for HCC, the hackathon promoted by Roche, in collaboration with us, which involved over 70 professionals from Italian clinical and research centres.
Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the most aggressive types of liver cancers. In Italy, 13,000 liver cancer cases were estimated in 2020 – with 75-85% represented by HCC.
The participants, divided into multidisciplinary teams, proposed innovative solutions to improve the treatment process and the relationship between patients and doctors.
