Virtual smart home with E-Distribuzione

A smart home simulation system to encourage the responsible use of energy.

 

With E-Distribuzione we designed and built a virtual smart home equipped with a photovoltaic system, smart appliances, batteries.

In this virtual environment, it is possible to interact with appliances, measure the energy impact of every action, and simulate unexpected events such as power cuts. It also has a photovoltaic system that accumulates electricity and exchanges it with an external network.

When it comes to sustainability, it is essential to collaborate with young people, the consumers of tomorrow. For this project, two classes of high school students from our international school in Treviso tested the tool through virtual reality headsets and mobile devices.
