True self-discovery cannot be written into a program. It comes from within you.

Out of the Box is the summer program where we DON’T tell you what to do.
We give you the places, the shoes, and the time. But the step is yours to take.

Out of the Box – Discover Yourself, Shape your Path

A university orientation journey that starts with you.

THE ALTERNATIVE

Try to imagine something else.

You arrive at a crazy place — H-FARM Campus — for an orientation course. You know you’ll do a series of activities. They tell you they will be beautiful, intense, real.

But they don’t tell you HOW.

Because the how will be decided by YOU. Together with OTHERS. With your timing, your choices, your energy.

YOU will decide:

When to do them
How to do them
With whom
How to present them
How to face them And all these decisions

And all these decisions — every single one — are guidance.

You’re not taking notes: you’re learning to choose.
You’re learning about yourself, while doing.

THE DISCOVERY

And then, it happens.

It happens that you discover things about yourself you didn’t know.

That you are good at organizing, even if you thought you were only “the science one.”
That you can prepare presentations because you have ideas, vision, irony. Anxiety about presenting was the problem, not the skill.
That public speaking isn’t your thing, but writing is.
That in the mountains you took care of others, and you never thought it could be part of you. Maybe there’s a path there, one you never looked at. And then you understand something simple.

THE REALIZATION

And then you understand something simple.

We cannot write your guidance path for you.

We can only give you the places, the shoes, and the time.

But you take the step.

And you choose the direction.

What you will learn

By the end of this summer program, you will have developed a greater awareness of yourself and the way you approach decision-making. You will have practiced essential transferable skills such as collaboration, communication, organization, emotional management, and problem-solving.

Who is it for?

Out of the Box – Discover Yourself, Shape Your Path is designed for girls and boys aged 16+ who are going through a phase of choice, doubt, or exploration of their future.

It’s the ideal program for those who feel the need to pause, understand themselves better, and discover how they make decisions, without the pressure of having all the answers right away.

No prior experience or clear idea of what to do next is required: what matters is curiosity, a willingness to get involved, and the desire to live an intense and transformative experience, alongside peers and professionals in education and innovation.

Accomodation

During the summer program, you will stay in one of our residences: Marina.

Located in the enchanting Venetian lagoon, H-FARM Campus Marina is a true oasis just a few minutes from the H-FARM Campus (2 km). Two recently renovated Barchesse—overlooking what was once the main dock connecting Portegrandi to Venice—host apartments equipped with all modern comforts.

Here, you can live your campus life in a dynamic and stimulating environment, where you can share not only your studies but also your passions.

The program

The program unfolds through 7 cards, each representing an experiential world and arranged according to a pedagogical framework. The cards are structured into three main phases:

PHASE 1 – RECONNECT: body, mind, and relationships
PHASE 2 – UNDERSTAND: identity, soft skills, and personal direction
PHASE 3 – CHOOSE: orientation, artificial intelligence, and practical tools

Participants, divided into teams, are given the 7 cards to “play.” Each group collectively decides which cards to use and on which days, following the options outlined in the program. The choice is made autonomously, encouraging collaboration and planning among team members.
