Emanuele Taufer

Emanuele Taufer is full professor of Statistics at the Department of Economics and Management (DEM) at the University of Trento. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Mathematics of Cardiff University and a Master of Science in Mathematical Statistics from George Washington University.

His research interests concern modelling for time series and spatial data, estimation and testing for dependent data, goodness of fit testing, sampling for spatial data, tail analysis of distributions, multivariate analysis and model selection methods.

He has research collaborations with department colleagues and international scholars either in statistical methodology and multidisciplinary projects with special emphasis on financial and economic applications.
