Francesca Bortolamei

Francesca Bortolamei is a PhD Candidate in Management Engineering at the University of Padova, where her research focuses on eco-design and sustainability in the textile and fashion sector, with particular attention to the impact of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation. She holds a Master’s Degree in Management Engineering from the University of Padova, with a thesis titled “Sustainable Product Life Cycle Management: The Central Role of Eco-Design and a Preliminary Analysis of the Contribution of Digitalization.”

Alongside her academic path, Francesca gained valuable extracurricular experience as Secretary General of a university student association, where she developed strong coordination and organizational skills by managing internal activities and fostering effective collaboration within the team. She also strengthened her communication skills by contributing to the association’s outreach and promotional initiatives.
