Pierluigi has 35 years of experience mostly in executive positions in technology transformational roles in companies like Allianz Group, Novartis, The Global Fund and Swiss Re.
Pierluigi’s recent work has been focused on the development of digital strategy and enabling the digital transformation program introducing global operating models and driving significant business growth as well as establishing operational excellence.
He has been leading the way in innovation on products and knowledge by implementing Big Data, Smart Analytics and Cognitive computing by forging strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Amazon and Google.
In his capacity of Chief Technology Officer of Swiss Re Institute, he worked on the technology frontiers leading joint Research programs with some of the most prestigious universities, such as MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Cambridge, ETH Zurich, EPFL Lausanne, Tsinghua and New York University.
