Study Camp in Beijing: an international opportunity with 30 full scholarships
H-FARM College offers students an extraordinary international opportunity: a 6-day Study Camp in Beijing from April 8 to 13, 2026, with 30 full scholarships covering meals, accommodation, local transport, entry to cultural sites, workshops, and insurance.
A group of students will have the chance to immerse themselves in the heart of China, a political and cultural center where millennia of imperial history meet one of the world’s most dynamic economic and technological systems, experiencing a unique journey of personal and academic growth.
The initiative, promoted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission (BMEI) and the Beijing International Education Exchange Center, and coordinated by H-FARM College through Professor Alberto Antinucci, a lecturer in Applied AI and Business Strategies in China, creates a direct bridge between the European digital innovation ecosystem and Chinese cultural and industrial reality.
The program combines academic exchange moments with local students and guided tours of iconic world history sites, such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, and Tiananmen Square.
Alongside the historical dimension, participants will take part in practical workshops on traditional arts, such as lacquered fan making and the study of incense culture, as well as urban exploration in historic Hutongs and the Hongqiao market to understand local trade dynamics.
This experience is part of a long-standing collaboration with China that H-FARM College has been pursuing. Joining the Belt and Road Local Cooperation network strengthens the College’s role as a European hub for global dialogue between academia, institutions, and industry, with a specific focus on China, Asia, and emerging ecosystems. Participation in this network opens new opportunities for international cooperation and involvement in concrete projects related to education, entrepreneurship, and applied innovation.
For H-FARM College students, the Study Camp represents a unique chance to engage with a top-tier international context, broaden their global vision, and experience firsthand the dialogue between tradition and innovation that today more than ever defines the future.
In parallel with the Study Camp, six H-FARM College students are working on a strategic project supervised by Professor Alberto Antinucci, entitled “H-FARM College China Gateway – Market Entry Strategy.” The goal is to define a market entry strategy to strengthen the College’s presence in the Chinese undergraduate education market.
During the first month of work, between February and March, the team conducted an in-depth market research phase, identifying Chinese international high schools—particularly students following A-Level and IB programs in English—as their primary target. For these students, already oriented toward an international academic path, enrolling in a Bachelor of Science in partnership with the University of Chichester represents a strategic opportunity, especially since it does not require passing the Gaokao, China’s traditional and highly competitive university entrance exam.
The project takes place in a context where studying abroad is no longer an option for a few but an increasingly necessary choice to compete globally. The United Kingdom, in particular, is currently one of the most requested destinations by Chinese high school students. In the next phase, the team will develop a full strategic visibility and positioning plan, including local digital channels such as WeChat.
To best prepare for the specific dynamics of the Chinese market, the students also attended a course at the Value China Academy, a digital agency specializing in supporting Western companies in strengthening credibility, awareness, and conversion in China.
