The Master’s Degree Program

The Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, Startups & Innovation

The Entrepreneurial Opportunity: Mindset, Validation & Markets – 10 ECTS

This module introduces students to entrepreneurial thinking and the process of discovering business opportunities. The focus is on developing an agile, innovation-oriented mindset, analyzing markets, and validating ideas through practical methodologies and market research tools. Students learn to identify real-world problems and turn them into valuable opportunities.

Designing the Venture: Strategy, Models & Value Creation – 10 ECTS

The course guides students in designing a startup, from defining strategy to creating sustainable business models. Special attention is given to building effective value propositions and planning the resources needed to turn an idea into a concrete project. The module combines theory and practical activities to foster understanding of innovative strategies and operational tools.

Building the Venture: AI-Powered Products, Technology & Teams – 10 ECTS

This module explores how to develop innovative products and services by leveraging digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Students learn to design high-performance teams and integrate emerging technologies into business processes, creating scalable products and competitive market solutions. The approach is highly practical, featuring case studies and hands-on workshops led by industry experts.

Funding the Venture: Entrepreneurial Finance, VC & The Pitch – 10 ECTS

The course delves into the financial principles necessary to launch and grow a startup. Students learn how to manage initial capital, engage with investors, understand venture capital, and prepare effective pitches. Through practical workshops, the module enables students to acquire concrete skills for presenting and defending their projects in front of real investors.

Scaling the Venture: Growth, Marketing & Go-to-Market – 10 ECTS

This module focuses on startup growth and market expansion. Students learn marketing strategies, customer acquisition techniques, and scalable growth models. The practical approach includes developing go-to-market plans and simulations that allow students to test growth strategies in realistic scenarios.

Leading Corporate Innovation: Intrapreneurship & Open Innovation – 10 ECTS

The course addresses innovation within existing companies, introducing concepts of intrapreneurship and open innovation. Students learn how to lead innovation projects, collaborate with internal and external teams, and implement innovative solutions in corporate settings. The module combines theory and practical workshops, with a focus on real case studies and corporate partnerships.

THE VENTURE LAUNCHPAD

The final trimester is a full-time, 3–6 month experience where students put into practice everything learned throughout the program, serving as a direct bridge to their professional careers. Students can choose between two tracks:

Founder Track: development of a startup within the H-FARM Startup Center, with access to pre-acceleration programs, mentorship, and the opportunity to present the project to investors during a dedicated Demo Day.

Corporate Innovator Track: execution of a strategic innovation project in collaboration with one of H-FARM’s corporate partners, culminating in a proof-of-concept presentation to the company’s senior management.

Entry requirements

ACADEMIC TITLE

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a first-level academic diploma from a Higher Education Institute in Art and Music, or be currently enrolled in a program leading to one of these qualifications, having completed at least 110 ECTS by the time of application.

Candidates must possess, or obtain within the deadlines specified in the admission notice, an academic qualification suitable for admission to the Master’s Degrees in accordance with the entry requirements listed on the University of Chichester website.

The academic qualification requirement depends strictly on the country in which the degree was obtained.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have a language certification at an appropriate level (refer to the admission notice to see recognized certifications).

In some specific cases, it is possible to access the course even without a certified English level. Accepted exemptions are listed in the application notice.

STEP 2 – Interview

EU or Schengen Area countries:

After submitting your online application, the Admissions Team will contact you to schedule your motivational interview, which will be conducted in English. Interviews will take place on the dates specified in the admission notice. During the interview, in addition to assessing your motivation and academic and extracurricular experiences, your English language level will also be evaluated.

Non-EU countries:

Applicants from non-EU countries who have correctly completed the application will be invited to participate in an asynchronous admission interview.

STEP 3 – Application results

After the interview, you will receive the outcome of your application via email.

STEP 4 – Pre-enrollment or enrollment

Admitted candidates will have the opportunity to accept their place and proceed with pre-enrollment or enrollment, as applicable, as follows:

Dual career: student – athlete

Skiing, tennis, golf, horse riding, sailing, motorsport: Champion’s Academic Journey is the program dedicated to student-athletes who aim to excel both in sports and in academics, enhancing their athletic journey without giving up the university experience.

Access to this program is reserved for student-athletes competing at a national or international level, depending on the sport practiced.

Tuition & Financing

Fees and payment methods

The tuition fees for this Master’s Degree are as follows:

  • Students from EU or Schengen Area countries: €15,500

  • Non-EU students: €26,350

Payment can be made in three installments.

If tuition fees are paid after the deadline indicated in the contract, the following penalties will apply: €100 from the 1st to the 10th day after the deadline; €200 from the 11th to the 20th day after the deadline; €200 plus a block on the student’s academic record from the 20th day after the deadline onward.
