A new visual storytelling project with Open Fiber
H-FARM College has launched a new initiative in collaboration with Open Fiber, one of Italy’s leading operators involved in the development of FTTH (Fiber To The Home) fiber-optic networks. The initiative will engage students in a creative project focused on communicating the company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
The brief invites participants to develop a video capable of authentically telling the story of Open Fiber’s identity: its mission, values, work environment, and the contribution of the people who every day help build the country’s digital infrastructure. The goal is to transform these elements into contemporary storytelling designed for digital platforms and aimed in particular at young talents, students, recent graduates, and professionals interested in the tech and telecom sectors.
At the center of the narrative will be people and the company’s culture, guided by the values of Ambition, Action, Accountability, and Team Spirit. Through the video, students will highlight the energy of the teams, the variety of skills involved, and the impact of the infrastructure projects that Open Fiber carries out across the country. The video should be authentic, dynamic, and characterized by a contemporary pace, with storytelling centered on people and consistent with the company’s tone of voice and brand identity. The objective is to clearly and memorably represent Open Fiber’s values, culture, and professional opportunities.
The initiative is open to students from the MSc in Design & Communication and MSc in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics programs, as well as members of Lumina, the student consulting agency of H-FARM College. Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams and go through all phases of the creative process: from initial brainstorming and concept development to moodboards, storyboards, production, and the final presentation of the video.
Applications to participate in the initiative open today, March 12, and will remain open until March 15. Between four and a maximum of six students will be selected to take part in the project and will work with the support of two mentors: creative director and H-FARM College faculty member Massimiliano Degli Uberti and Alessandro Stefanato, visual storyteller specialist at H-FARM College.
Among the planned activities there will also be a trip to Rome and its surroundings, during which participants will collect the materials needed for filming.
The program will conclude with the final project pitches on April 22, 2026, when students will present their concept, creative process, and the final video developed for the company.
