Global Business Experience with
From May 15th to 20th, 2024, we hosted some students from Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business, which, with over 60 years of history, is one of the top business schools in the United States.
As part of an important partnership signed months ago, we designed a custom learning program for Georgetown University students, based on the famous format of H-FARM College Challenges.
The partner of this particular initiative, with a truly international taste, was EssilorLuxottica, world leader in the design, production, and distribution of lenses, frames, and sunglasses.
The partnership between H-FARM College and Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business is signed.
The briefs, content, and objectives of the learning program aimed at the students are defined. EssilorLuxottica is involved as industrial partner.
After dividing into groups, 16 students from the American business school, coordinated by H-FARM College and guided by EssilorLuxottica experts, work remotely on 4 Challenges on different themes with the common thread of smart eyewear: from strategies for entering a new market or increasing product demand to co-creating communities, and addressing ethical issues related to data collection through wearable devices.
The final week of their journey takes place on our Campus: a rich program of activities, both academic and non-academic, awaits them, culminating in the day dedicated to group pitches.
Amid cooking classes, breakfast connect, and networking events, the Georgetown University students meet our students, and the latter interact not only with peers of different backgrounds and nationalities but also with the faculty of the prestigious business school.
