Al via oggi il GenZ Travel Lab

A new and important initiative kicked off today at H-FARM College: the GenZ Travel Lab, a project promoted by OTTOZEROUNO, a company specializing in technology transfer and business development, and Alidays, an independent Italian tour operator. The initiative is dedicated to the students of Lumina, H-FARM College’s student consulting agency active in the fields of business, AI & tech, and communication & marketing.
The Lab, based on OTTOZEROUNO’s THALEA Lab™ framework, aims to reinvent tourism through unique content and digital experiences, placing innovation, technology, and the creative potential of young talents at its core.
The project is set within a rapidly evolving tourism landscape, where travelers are increasingly seeking authentic, personalized, and engaging experiences. Alidays—an Italian tour operator with extensive experience in designing tailor-made journeys to intercontinental destinations and promoting Italy as a premier travel destination for international visitors—and OTTOZEROUNO have decided to collaborate to spark new ideas that could serve as the foundation for a future startup in experiential tourism.
H-FARM College students will take on the role of potential co-founders of a new startup and follow a structured process to turn their ideas into tangible projects. At first, they will work in multidisciplinary teams conducting market analyses and exploring cutting-edge technologies, studying new trends in the travel industry, and investigating how digital content can redefine the tourism experience. This exploration phase will help them understand the competitive landscape, key players in the field, and emerging opportunities to create value.
From the initial groups, 20 students will be selected as potential co-founders to move on to the idea development phase. During this stage, the teams will work to transform their insights into real projects, combining creativity, technology, and market strategies. The finalist projects will have the opportunity to be presented during a final event in the Big Hall in January 2026.
The GenZ Travel Lab represents a valuable opportunity to develop skills as future changemakers in tourism and digital innovation—learning how to collaborate, make strategic decisions, and propose concrete solutions.
