Executive Director’s welcome message for the academic year 2024/25

Hi everyone. It’s a true pleasure to be here with you today as you begin your journey at H-FARM College. Some of you are just starting your academic path by enrolling in one of our bachelor’s programs, while others are beginning a master’s degree to further specialize after your undergraduate studies. Regardless of where you are, today marks a significant milestone for both groups. We are truly honored that you’ve chosen us to walk alongside you during this important phase of your life, and for that, we sincerely thank you.

So, what lies ahead? University life offers an incredible opportunity to experience independence like never before. This is your moment to take charge of your education, make your own decisions, and learn to manage your time and life with a sense of responsibility. But beyond that, this year is also about building meaningful relationships. 

Friendship is one of the most valuable connections you can make, and some of the friendships you forge here may last a lifetime. You’ll also have the chance to establish important relationships with professors, coaches, and many others. Through events like Breakfast Connect, Lunch Connect, Inspirational Talks, and various Challenges, you’ll start building a network that could be crucial in your future career.

This year is also extraordinary because it gives you the opportunity to explore different fields, to discover what excites you, and to find out what aligns with your strengths and passions. It’s a fascinating yet challenging journey, and rest assured, our professors, coaches, and everyone at H-FARM College will be here to support you every step of the way.

To conclude, I’d like to offer a few recommendations to help you make the most of this journey. First, remember that university is a melting pot of cultures, perspectives, and ideas. At H-FARM College, we place a great emphasis on teamwork, bringing together people from different academic backgrounds and levels of experience. This diversity is something we highly value, and it’s an incredible opportunity for you to grow as an individual.

Next, make H-FARM your new home. Attend your lectures and participate in all the activities that require your physical presence, such as Challenges, project work, and collaborating with our fantastic Startup Center. But also, take part in activities where physical attendance isn’t mandatory—these experiences will add significant value to your journey.

Finally, don’t forget to communicate with us. We encourage you to share your feedback, whether through customer satisfaction surveys or informal conversations. Your input is essential to help us generate new ideas, confirm what works, and improve what doesn’t. One of the most inspiring moments I’ve had since the beginning of the year was during a Breakfast Connect, where students shared with us some truly insightful suggestions.

Now, you are officially part of our university community. Take pride in your new home, knowing that you belong here. We are excited to see what the future holds for you.
