H-FARM College inaugurates the 2025/26 academic year

Today marked the H-FARM College Welcome Day, the event that officially inaugurated the 2025/26 academic year and welcomed 340 freshmen to our campus. A day filled with presentations, testimonials, and discoveries that introduced new students to the unique ecosystem they are now part of.

The event was hosted by two College students, Matteo and Gaia, who welcomed the newcomers with a meaningful message: “Today is your first day, and just like you, we too were sitting in those chairs some time ago. From today, this place will also be your home, and we hope you’ll soon feel like true Farmers“. Among the audience, alongside the staff, were also the program directors of the various degree courses who will serve as important reference points for students throughout their university journey.

The institutional opening was entrusted to Antonello Barbaro, CEO of H-FARM Education, followed by Antonella Sannella, Executive Director of H-FARM College, who gave a warm welcome to the freshmen. Representatives from partner universities then spoke: Professor Maurizio Massaro (Ca’Foscari University) and Professor Raffaele Testorelli, Associate Dean of Faculty (University of Chichester).

During the event, students got a taste of the many opportunities offered by the campus. As Gaia and Matteo explained, the educational experience here is “three-dimensional”: learning takes place in the classroom, outside the classroom, and “in the field” through concrete projects, initiatives like the LUMINA agency, and much more.

The focus couldn’t miss the entrepreneurial ecosystem that characterizes H-FARM and how AI is integrated into students’ educational experience.

To conclude the day, a truly special moment: the tree planting ceremony in the Students’ Forest. This year, Kevin, the first enrolled student, had the honor of planting the new tree that will join the forest growing alongside our community. A symbolic gesture representing the roots these students will put down here and the growth that awaits them.
