H-FARM College students at the forefront with the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team

As part of the partnership between H-FARM and the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team, a selected group of six H-FARM College students will take part in an international challenge dedicated to SailGP’s Impact League, the renowned global sailing competition. The initiative was presented at the College by two members of the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team: Cathy Ryan, Team Manager, and Francesco Francavilla, Head of Marketing Communications & PR.

In the coming weeks, our students will be involved in a high-impact, real-world project, contributing to the development of the Italian team’s strategy within SailGP’s parallel competition, which rewards actions related to sustainability, social impact, and the engagement of younger generations.

The students, coming from different age groups and degree programs, will work as true “impact strategists,” contributing to the development of innovative solutions and internationally scalable formats, with a focus on two key strategic areas:

Better Planet: initiatives and content dedicated to ocean protection and the development of solutions for a more sustainable sport, oriented toward a low-emissions future powered by clean energy.

Better Sport: activities aimed at promoting inclusion and equity in sailing, both on and off the water, while inspiring and engaging new generations.

The student team will contribute on multiple levels:

  • Thematic curation to adapt content to the various international stops of the circuit
  • Engagement strategies to maximize visibility and communication impact, including across social media channels
  • Development of interactive formats and tools to make sessions engaging and memorable
  • Creative and narrative support for the development of a global content library

The partnership between H-FARM and the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team represents a concrete example of how education, innovation, and sport can generate real impact. Through the Impact League, H-FARM College students are not just observers: they are active participants, called upon to design and develop activities for the ‘Better Planet’ and ‘Better Sport’ challenges, transforming the skills acquired in the classroom into tangible values and solutions on an international stage. It is ‘Human-Centric’ experiential learning in its most authentic form. At H-FARM College, we believe that talent should serve society, and this collaboration makes it possible. Because energy may be ‘Powered by Nature,’ but the future is always ‘Guided by Humans’—and those humans also include our students, together with the athletes and the entire SailGP Italy team staff.
