Alberto Grignolo appointed co-managing director
He was assigned the powers relating to the organization, management and control of corporate activities, and of the Education and Innovation business units.
Yesterday, under the chairmanship of Riccardo Donadon, our Board of Directors assigned the operational powers relating to the organization, management and control of corporate activities, and of the Education and Innovation business units to Alberto Grignolo.
Grignolo joined our Board of Directors on January 14. He is a prominent figure on the national and international digital scene, having contributed for almost 20 years to making YOOX (then Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, acquired in 2018 for €5,3 billion by the Swiss luxury goods group Richemont) one of the global leaders in e-commerce, quoted on the stock exchange, with over $2,5 billion in turnover and 4,000 employees. In recent months, Grignolo has worked closely with the other directors and the managers of the various units. In doing so, he has decided to make his own contribution to our growth and development.
Grignolo’s entry is part of our strategy to significantly strengthen the organization and give a major boost to our scalability, growth and development. We aree preparing to open the new areas of our campus in September 2020. With its 51-hectare overall surface area and more than 42,000 sqm dedicated to digital innovation, our campus is set to establish itself as one of the largest and most important private ecosystems in Europe.
