Orientation Experience: getting ready for higher education

Over the past week we welcomed two groups of high school students from all over Italy to our Campus for the 2024 edition of the Orientation Experience. 

The initiative is designed to guide students in making informed decisions about their future university journey. 

In the first week, professors from prestigious universities delivered lessons across various fields, including management, marketing, sociology, physics, and international business, while during the second week, experts from the H-FARM ecosystem provided valuable tips and advice to get ready for their university journey. 

Key sessions included:

• Applying to university: a step-by-step guide: providing students with a detailed roadmap to navigate the complex application process.
• Tips and tricks to build the perfect motivational video: offering invaluable insights into creating compelling motivational videos to enhance university applications.
• Self-discovery through image representation: helping students explore their identities and aspirations through innovative image-based exercises.
• The most in-demand skills in a fast-changing world: highlighting the crucial skills needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving job market.

Participants engaged in a variety of interactive activities such as Masterlabs, Talks, and Group Work sessions led by experts from many fields. These activities not only fostered learning but also encouraged teamwork and personal growth. Alongside the educational sessions, students enjoyed numerous leisure activities, making the experience both enriching and enjoyable.

Students were introduced to H-FARM’s partner Dispenso Academy, an Orientation platform dedicated to assisting students as they transition from high school to university.
