Timothy O’Connell speaker at “We Make Future 2025”

Professor Timothy O’Connell, Program Coordinator and Director of the Entrepreneurship & Startup Center, spoke today as a guest speaker at the prestigious WMF – We Make Future 2025, the largest international fair dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and Digital Innovation.

This year’s edition is confirming the extraordinary numbers of the previous one, with 70,000 attendees, over 1,000 speakers from 90 countries, and 90 stages focused on education, business, and entertainment.

With a talk entitled Entrepreneurial thinking: the secret weapon of high-impact leaders, Timothy addressed a crucial topic for shaping the leaders of tomorrow. He focused on the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset to turn ideas into real innovation and sustainable growth. “How many of you consider yourselves entrepreneurs?” – this provocative question opened his session, immediately engaging the large audience in attendance.

O’Connell explained how, in a world evolving at the speed of light, developing an entrepreneurial mindset is key to transforming ideas into innovation and growth. He unveiled the skills and attitudes needed to shape future leaders: visionaries capable of spotting opportunities, breaking the mold, and competing on a global scale. “Because change isn’t something to endure – it’s something to lead,” he emphasized during his speech.

The session took place in the afternoon on the “Future of Entrepreneurship” stage, dedicated to experts and successful startup founders sharing innovative strategies for launching and scaling businesses. A full immersion into the latest trends—from lean startup to growth hacking—designed to turn ideas into successful ventures and provide concrete tools to navigate the ever-evolving entrepreneurial landscape.

WMF continues to be an international benchmark where experts in AI & Digital-Tech, researchers, creators, and innovation stakeholders come together to shape the future through conscious and sustainable use of technology. Professor O’Connell’s participation marks an important recognition of the expertise that H-FARM and H-FARM College bring to the global innovation landscape.
