At RewirEd Summit with global education leaders
Antonello Barbaro, CEO of our Education division, met key education stakeholders and leaders.
Technology has created new learning opportunities and approaches, but less than half of the students in the world can access these new tools. A change is urgently needed to ensure high-quality education is available to all.
This challenge was discussed in The Future of Learning for All: Edtech and Learning Equity panel on 13 December in Dubai. Antonello Barbaro, CEO and General Manager of our Education division, joined a group of stakeholders to investigate the EdTech trends and the tools and strategies needed to jumpstart a positive change in education.
The event is part of RewirEd Summit, led by the global philanthropic organisation Dubai Cares in partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai and in close coordination with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC).
We are also present at the Dubai Cares pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. As Dubai Cares' only partner in the education field, we have been invited to present MySchool, our revolutionary school standard based on a multi-channel platform that combines advanced tech to offer a personalised experience.
Dubai Cares' CEO, H.E. Dr Tariq Al Gurg, described us as "the answer to the search for the ideal education model. An organic system that can create human capital of the future through modern education, an innovative space that merges the right skills with the right technologies to create the right opportunities, a breakthrough solution that thrives on a collaborative culture of learning and sharing between entrepreneurs, startups, large corporations and students, a platform where diverse minds meet and new ideas are born daily, where creativity flows in every direction and innovation is an everyday phenomenon."
