Career Day | October 16-17, 2023

The annual H-FARM College Career Day took place on October 16th-17th.

“Luck does not exist: there is a moment when talent meets opportunity.”

Our Career Day has always been a major event for both companies and H-FARM College students and Alumni.

The October 2023 edition began with the usual “The Future Of” format, a series of talks held on Monday evening by our scientific directors and experts to discuss challenges and opportunities that are emerging in key industries, divided into four main macro-topics: artificial intelligence, (e-)commerce, operations and talent. The event also featured a group of brilliant (and very excited) students currently studying at H-FARM College: Alessandro, Alice, Barbara and Alfonso.

The following day, the 2023/24 academic year Job Fair took place in a truly packed Big Hall: hundreds of Alumni and students from all degree courses did their job interviews with the over 60 companies attending the event. The sectors represented included food & beverage, e-commerce, innovation, consultancy, pharmaceuticals and many others.

The day began in the restaurant “La Serra” with the “Breakfast Connect” event, a format created together with the Student Life team to allow companies and students to interact and network in a very informal way, between coffee, croissants and valuable pieces of career advice.

In the afternoon, the students also participated in some workshops on personal branding, a topic that is crucial now more than ever due to the profound transformations in the job market we are all witnessing, marked by the rise of new technologies.
