H-FARM College announces the launch of its Department of Creativity, Arts & Design
H-FARM College continues to grow and announces the launch of its Department of Creativity, Arts & Design, a new area of study dedicated to design, digital arts and creative production. With this step, the College’s academic offering is now structured around three departments (Business & Management, Innovation & Technology, and Creativity, Arts & Design), bringing entrepreneurial, technological and creative skills together within a single educational project.
Now in its ninth year, with more than 1,200 students enrolled for the 2026/27 academic year and its most recent financial year closed with a positive EBITDA, H-FARM College is consolidating its growth. The new three-department structure aims to make the integration of different disciplines even more tangible, creating new opportunities for collaboration and cross-pollination among students from different programs and fields.
The Department of Creativity, Arts & Design stems from the integration of BigRock into H-FARM College. Already part of H-FARM, the digital arts school has trained more than 3,000 professionals since 2005 and now brings twenty years of experience and expertise in design, digital arts and creative production into the College. The offering expands with three new three-year bachelor’s degrees and three Master of Arts programs, covering digital design and visual arts, game design, product design, communication and artificial intelligence, fashion and creative technologies, and film and animation.
The College’s academic offering thus spans a broad range of skills demanded by today’s market, from business management and entrepreneurship to artificial intelligence and software development, all the way to design and creative production, while keeping the same teaching approach across all programs.
H-FARM College’s educational model combines technical and soft skills with a strong hands-on learning component, bringing students into contact with companies from their very first year through real-world projects and a network of more than 500 partner companies. On top of this is the startup mindset that has defined H-FARM since its founding: every program concludes with a company placement or the development of a business project in the H-FARM Startup Center.
“With the integration of BigRock, we are entering a new educational area, Creativity, Arts & Design, and bringing into our model a principle that has set this school apart for twenty years: imagination comes before technology. Before digital production, we build solid creative and aesthetic foundations through drawing, photography, color, materials, sculpture, writing and visual research, training students’ ability to see, imagine and choose,” says Antonella Sannella, Managing Director of H-FARM College.
“It may seem like a counterintuitive choice, but we believe it is precisely these foundations that allow technology to amplify ideas rather than replace or flatten them. After all, the H in H-FARM stands for Human: for us, the future begins when technology enhances what makes us deeply human: imagination, sensitivity, thought, and the ability to create meaning.”
